Shopping online is such an easy pleasure, that for a customer to physically browse a store today it’s imperative the retailer offer a bit of something… special.

The store must entice. It must surprise, delight, encourage a certain kind of excitement. Now, an elegant new boutique has just opened on the edge of Union Square that is doing just that!
Adeeni Design Galerie features a beautiful collection of pieces for the home, mostly imported from Europe, that you simply cannot find anywhere else in San Francisco, or even online.

Owner Claudia Juestel has carefully curated the selection to represent some of the finest examples of European Modernist art, décor, furniture, lighting and tabletop items.
Highlights include porcelain from Augarten, highly coveted vintage serving ware, original artworks by Carrie Ann Plank, and meticulously crafted jewelry by Michelle Nussbaumer.

Juestel is devoted to offering one-of-a-kind art and maker-goods as well as vintage finds at Adeeni, which feels like a welcoming, elegant salon but has the sleek, light-filled appearance of an art gallery. “In the Bay Area, people value good design and craftsmanship,” she says.
“We bring a timeless, modern, European style in a relaxed atmosphere where you can find truly unique and authentic things.”

The opening of the boutique was recently celebrated by a cocktail party attended by some of the Bay Area’s top design professionals and media, as well as friends and clients of Juestel’s interior design firm, Adeeni Design Group (now in its 18th year of business!)
